Not much to say.. still pelting it down with heavy snow. The road must have about an inch on it by now, the tyre tracks and the snow’s levels are quite distinguishable

Our lamp posts stay on all night but this is the last winter they'll do that. From April they go off at 1am each night.

Aww. Wiltshire Council hasn’t adopted that *yet*

Perhaps, but I did read an article just now where Wilts Council is planning to replace all street lights with LED lights by 2020 and will start dimming them at night. So I guess I’ll make use of my lighting while it’s here!

As long as I can keep my eyes open for. Day off tomorrow so can sleep all morning if I want to

Snow has just started getting heavier about 4 cm settled so far. More than I expected ❄❄❄

Looking good here in Rooksmoor - just went for a short walk, proper crunchy snow! All the trees are covered thanks to last nights hard frost. I was working in Stroud today doing garden work, some of the conifers in the garden had ice on them at 12pm! Perfect set up...

Still snowing, night all

So which way is the precipitation moving at the moment? I’ve found myself at the southern tip again but if it’s going to snow for another 4 hours.. well

Our lights are already dimmed but that isn't enough for Hampshire County Council it seems.

Should add it will affect everyone else from Hampshire on here unless you're in Southampton or Portsmouth.

So as long as it doesn't snow after 1am we'll be fine.
