Going by the radar I would be surprised if I wake up to anything more than a sprinkling.

which is good because I’ll be able to drive to work tomorrow.

Couple of cm so far in Warminster.

Amazing really, until 1st March last year we had gone over 5 years without more than a dusting and now another decent event within a year.

Radar looking way better now, everything heading slowly north and shearing east.

Yep orange warning now gone from Met Office!

Replaced with a yellow one for my neck of the woods and snow symbols and a new weather warning of snow and ice right through to 5 pm tomorrow afternoon. Plenty more surprises to come methinks, with more precipitation heading into Cornwall overnight as well.

Hi All

Have a genuine question.

Earlier frome was under orange and it hammered down massive flakes .

Now or look at this image from now on the radar albeit 15 mins delay

under orange and yet not a flake falling right now  ?

How is that possible ? Any tech heads please elaborate for a simpleton such as myself

tjanks of you can

Yeah seems they have removed the warning but we seemed to be forecasted more snow than we were before

Snow settling in Gosport. According to the UKMO the secondary feature out in the channel appears to stall over the Solent area.

Any chance of that blob in the channel south-east of Southampton heading NW?

Not directly lol, but the front will be energised from the east as it moves north, so hopefully we will see that transfer of energy towards us.

Still a chance maybe for a little more excitement for us Cornish folk with this little feature moving up from the south bumping into the cold air could deliver the goods .
