After a few flurries it has stopped absolutely dry as a bone here yet apparently under ppn on radar.

The heavier stuff south of us still seems to be moving north I think

Not been on here for some time now but I have just popped it to ask for the password so I can turn off the snow shields.

Hello chaps haven't posted for few yrs, hoping cheltenham and gloucester get atleast a couple of cms tonight, but nothing so far apart from a few small flakes blowing around my location is actually Prestbury cheltenham

Looks to be a trend for some ppn to hang around much later into tomorrow than originally forecast (although my faith in the forecast generally has subsided, it’s nice to see perhaps the potential has stretched out into tomorrow as well).

Midday tomorrow on the ‘potential’ radar and the early hours through till morning on the app! Here’s to Lady Luck

Hope so! Radar watching is fascinating and painful here at the same time! I just hope the stuff in Somerset slowly creeps this way with the incredibly slow northward trend as well. I’ve seen stalling and pivoting systems where it’s damn obvious it won’t get to where I am, this one not so much! Happy for everyone who’s getting a good dump (so to speak...)

it might have delivered for you (which is good) but the rest of the UK this winter has been absolute pants

Yes have felt that pain many times, if I had a magic wand, I would magic snow for all, but I don’t, sorry. Hopefully you’ll get some soon

Wow- how can shanklin be so different??!  The ground is SO wet now and although  it’s started snowing its a wet snow that doesn’t want to lay! Any idea how much longer it’s in for? I’m hoping it may lay if we have a few more hours n temp drops bit more?

Probably a bit too close to the coast - it should pivot back around for a bit I hope!

Nice little dusting after only 45mins of snow here in Bristol;

Looking at the radar, I'm not expecting too much more through the night but I'm happy I've had something at least.

Usually only post when it's snowing here in North West Bristol so that says it all - as Fergie has recently tweeted it took its time but get in there! Moderate snow currently. Temp 0.6 and falling ❄️❄️❄️

Wish I still lived up Princetown this week!

They've certainly had a good coating up there. All roads are closed going up to the moor. Cars abandoned as usual causing problems.

Met Office has a high of 1°C tomorrow so I don’t see it really melting

Interestingly the lit 'low' actually formed of the front around 12 and can be seen on the 18 fax. It was at this time that moderate rain turned to snow here as the low level winds gusting 40 mph  ceased and became calm
