Have been reading the mad thread for months, feels like years, any potential has always been at day ten and never delivered. Literally on the verge of labelling this winter a busted flush and giving up, then BOOM IT DELIVERS.

Funny old game.

So true Bazray. It's nice that the SW and CSE region got the goods instead of the other regions this time.

Doing me pretty well though, it's topped up the patio a bit more and my neighbour's driveway is almost totally covered

It seems to be getting more intense here

Something I did notice on the met forecast earlier was it almost back building our way, after it appeared to have moved through.

Thought nothing of it at the time, but if they've nailed that I'll be well impressed.

Just heard the helicopter go past heading for dartmoor. Seen on the radar some showers heading our direction, watching them with interest!

They look particularly tasty. Taking an age to move up. Fingers crossed. How's the road through Peter tavy doing?

Looks to be a trend for some ppn to hang around much later into tomorrow than originally forecast (although my faith in the forecast generally has subsided, it’s nice to see perhaps the potential has stretched out into tomorrow as well).

Midday tomorrow on the ‘potential’ radar and the early hours through till morning on the app! Here’s to Lady Luck

After a few flurries it has stopped absolutely dry as a bone here yet apparently under ppn on radar.

I really should take the dog for a walk or something, waited months for this and I’m just sat here reading the forum. Perhaps I’ll get some pictures and ask the quad man if I can do a few donuts. Maybe not wise after a Stella.

Not a flake here yet, glad the rest of you further down South are getting some action!! Reckon we may get lucky later on depending how far North it pushes, just hope it doesn't run out of steam by the time it gets here!!!

Wow- how can shanklin be so different??!  The ground is SO wet now and although  it’s started snowing its a wet snow that doesn’t want to lay! Any idea how much longer it’s in for? I’m hoping it may lay if we have a few more hours n temp drops bit more?
