Bizarrely, not a flake have I seen! Hoping it's all about to converge on Bristol over the next hour or so.

I can't work out what's happening. The radar says it should clear through very soon. The meto says snow till 4am. And my brain is really hurting. I just want a snow day off work building a snowman with my toddler.

Well MO just updated and now it has snow out as far as 1pm tomorrow. I did see some charts earlier (HIRLAM?) showing some snow rebounding into CS England tomorrow afternoon.

Are you getting g lots in Bridgwater? It’s only up the road.

I'm thinking the same radar look a to be stopping in Bournemouth but still showing till 2 am here. Not sure how much it's going to pivot.

Well it took long enough but we have snow starting to settle, still only small flakes, need that heavier band to reach here so I can join in with seeing the 50p size snowflakes lol

Can't believe tavi had nothing! Even at home near Milton abbot there's a good inch or two. Looking forward to driving to Okehampton at 5.30am tomorrow Heard Princetown has been cut off!

Yes the Dartmoor rangers have blocked both roads up there. Plenty of cars abandoned.

@Bring Back1962-63 to be fair and credit to @knocker he suggested the breakaway low. I’m learning all the time. Thank you for your input and knocker’s

Unless 62-63 has detailed evidence to the contrary  which is not available to the rest of us,  I would  suggest the 'breakaway' low did not  form on the upper occlusion as upper fronts are not particularly active and it's far more likely that it was a wave on the surface front in the channel

Still coming down but not as heavy, must be sleety now because the settled snow is starting to disappear!

Your near me then, don’t think you’ll be getting home tonight.

Just heard the helicopter go past heading for dartmoor. Seen on the radar some showers heading our direction, watching them with interest!
