Don't write this off just yet guys - local forecasts are still looking good (including Frome!).  It's unusual to see large swathes of red or orange snow on the radar to be fair - the yellow is still pretty heavy!

Settling nicely on the pavement now and on the sides of the road.

Cheese puff has snow, my spirits are lifted....perhaps it is on its way ;)

But in all seriousness it’s an evolving scenario, ppn can and will pop up/build in situ, I’ll be keeping an eye on the radar and the window.

Hopefully the loud pitter patter on the velux window will stop at some point in the the couple of hours.

No point checking lamppost whilst that noise is present!

Absolute bust here in south east Devon, been raining non stop since 3pm.

Oh well, we were rather spoilt last March!

I'd say if your 10-15 miles  near the coast it's not going to deliver.

I'll tell you what.. the NetWx model is about the only one that has got close to being right, for all of the stick it gets. It shows the heavier precip being further East and not West. It matches the current radar very well.

It's wrong! Radar fault apparently at Dean Hill says @Singularity

Seconded. It's FUBAR. Actually, they could repair it, but choose not to.

Settling down the hill from @CheesepuffScott in Downton, Wiltshire.

If you play the radar back though it looks like the front is compressing as it pivots not so much stronger in east just the easy hasn't compressed up so much.
