I don't think you've got anything to worry about. The METO have been updating their forecast hourly, all that's changing is the timing, not whether or not it will snow. You will get snow, how much remains to be seen, but you will get some.

I'm quite a big worrier when it comes to things like this. I'm just worried that the pivot is happening to soon.

I know but I always get bad feelings about this. I had it in March as well .

Same here. I was so sure this morning, but now I feel totally deflated.' So disappointing...

A fair whack can be knocked off of that as it'll include rain totals.

Yes and I said the same in March, patience, you got it around midnight last time I think. People slate the met snow charts, but there usually not a million miles off the mark.

Can see why some of you guys are getting rain/sleet compared to snowfall. Winds are SE across Southern Dorset and Extreme Hampshire West. Areas East of Southampton up round to Bath have Easterly winds with Dew points at 0°C currently.

12z EURO4 is very very good for the whole region really.

Hope it verifies!

We’ve had around an hour of snow fall here on the south coast of Cornwall. Nothing forecast and nothing on the radar

Can't see any significant snow this far north anymore but could bode well further south and east!

Hang on in there Leon, it’s running a bit later than originally forecast. My gosh the Met Office weather app/local page has chopped and changed all day.

To think only a couple of days ago the forecast models had this going well into Northern England.

well the snow wait finally over here in Hartland, North Devon, drove from Hartland to Woolsery along the a39 and it was pretty sketchy, must have been 2 inches covering the road, radio 2 just mentioned cars now stuck in snow between kilkhampton and abbotsham.  super big flakes at times so settled without any problem after all the cold rain all day.  Loved the Polzeath webcam, when i saw that i knew we would get some heavy snow soon.  All but gone through now but i wasnt expecting such an amount to fall and settle, especially on the main route through north devon and cornwall.  keep your heads up somerset/wiltshire, you are bound to get some later.

The Met Office have Gosport down for a few hours of rain before heavy snow at 10pm. Temp currently 3.3C decreasing -1.2C/hr DP 0.9C. So hopefully the temp drops low enough before the front has passed through.

Here's to hoping

Temperature dropping quickly now. 2.3°C. Still sleet at the moment but some big flakes mixed in with it now.

@jtay Just started snowing here!

Yeah, I've just got back from the flower run. Popped into our co-op for Ale supplies, as tonight might as well be a Friday, and it was trying then.
