I know, I know. Now casting etc. But for Swindon we’ve seen downgrades alL day so far from heavy snow to just light from 7pm for 12 hrs and now it’s jumped back to this... taking the snow righty through to tomorrow afternoon continuous

That's PPN accumulations, not snow accumulations, hence why Cornwall is green.

Oops yeah sorry about that half asleep and didn't think about it lol. Sorry.

Temp dropping now 1.9°c, dew point -0.2°c, just need some PPN now!

Is it me or is the PPN intensifying as it approaches the West Country? (Last few frames)

Nowt here in Bristol, or down in Weston.

Temp 2.7c, DP 0.0C

Will be a while yet before it reaches our area mate, well into the evening.  Still looking good for us, especially away from Bristol channel coasts.

Hope so mate, would be real unlucky to miss out.

Temp holding steady at 2.8c but DP dropping a bit.

I'll have a quick glance at the EURO4, Arome and Hirlam this evening, but aside from that, it's more radar watching rather than model watching now.

Could be a good late evening period for us mate.

Here's a rare picture of snow on the Lizard - about as South as you can get.   Bit soggy tbh but better than nothing.

Love seeing snow fall that far south must be a real treat to see!

AWD are we seeing a pivot yet? It's really hard to tell.

Just started drizzling in Weymouth. Not sure what the chances are of seeing settling snow here but we'll see

Hopefully not.  I refuse to see it if it is anyway.

As long as it carries on moving NNE, as it is currently, then I'm happy.  I can't see us totally missing out now, pivot or no pivot.

Anyone else noticed the very small circulation just to the left of Plymouth

The main low-pressure circulation is off the coast of Ireland
