Good luck for tomorrow everyone! All forecasts are showing snow but intensity yet to be decided but I think lots of us will get a decent covering by Friday. Signing off for tonight now at -2.6°C.

Signing off too at -3.6°C, a long day ahead of radar and lamp post watching. It’s gonna be a fun ride!

Yeah out in the countryside it does seem much lower here than other stations! I’ve compared in the past thinking it was under reading but I’m sure it’s not a faulty reading from a Davis Vantage Vue!

Ooh nice piece of kit  that’s my aim in the future to get one of those, Birthday in 4 weeks time but I’m getting a Stevenson screen instead not a pro one of course but one from ‘Metcheck’ had one before and it lasted years.

Not looking good for here. Not a single forecast has shown snow. I have been well prepared for it, so no disappointment.

Any chance you can get out tomorrow and try to find some snow Mapantz? Close to you. I often do if it doesn’t happen here. Many a time it’s sleet where I live but snowing up at the cross hands (A46) near M4 junction 18 so I take the grandkids and the sledges up there ❄️

Any snow yet?

No but comparing the radar to the most recent model output the 0z icon it's either further north or ahead of the predicted time. May end up the at the same point in 24 hours of course and make no real difference we shall see.

00z EURO4 precip starting at 18:00, still all looking good for most of us most runs have been pretty consistent with how far north its going to get over the past 12 hours or so, doesn't mean things can't change though.  Cornwall misses out on the EURO4 compared to the HIRLAM
