We suffer the same problems along the coast of the Bristol channel. Looks like rain for us as well tomorrow.

I don't think this Winter will deliver for us. To be fair, the synoptics have been fairly good, it's just the UK hasn't been lucky with them. While we are in solar minimum/deep solar minimum, I have faith the following winters will deliver for us.

As for the here and now, my mind is starting to drift to lighter mornings & nights & warmer day's. I just can't help it - I love snow & cold, but I also love warm & sunny with thunderstorms.

An offshore wind and rain I don't think so, met office app showing snow from Thursday afternoon onwards, keep the faith!

Lovely bright frosty morning, really solid ice on the cars and pavements too.

Fingers are crossed that at least some of you out west of me see some flakes through today, and perhaps tomorrow too. Could be worse.

Not our region obviously but I was fascinated by the temperature contrast in Chicago this week with the displaced PV, -37c today +7c by Saturday.

Sadly, not looking as good now, my suspicion is that heaviest of snow is correcting south....touch wood, there is still time for it to revert...

Morning, bright frosty start to the day here. Currently looking likely that some of us will get snow tomorrow, although who and where seems a bit of a lottery. If you're off to stock up on essential supplies, grab some of these from your local pound shop...

video is right there, on the front page

parts of the south-west get under that white hatched area, but he mentions uncertainty on the track of the low, and that the warnings may need to get updated

Morning, woke up too -2.3c this morning (06:30)  it's icy out and a real peasouper outside now current temp is -1.4c.  Looking forward to tomorrow's snow event.  Fingers crossed more get in on the action.  My garden looks like a scene out of a Disney film at the moment wildlife everywhere making the most of the food I have just put out.

Trying my best too, but latest charts look a wintry mix at best for my location (See model thread) for latest Net Weather X charts.
