Rain has just arrived here, temperature starting to drop a little more.

Im not expecting it to turn to snow till after 7pm, fingers are crossed

Temperature now rising after the front has cleared, back up to 4.0°C from 3.3°C.

Temperature now 3.6, dp 1o, so 0.5 degree drop in 13 minutes. Sorry I don't have a fancy graph like Mapantz!

Rain eventually turned to snow for 20 minutes, but now stopped! 

Station graph shows the plummet in temps/dewpoint in past hour...must be back edge of cold front gone through.

On the weather map with the symbols for all the different locations it doesn't look like you will need to travel far inland to see some snow

UKMO says no to any Northward corrections

Flew along the leading edge of the cold front this morning from Exeter to Cardiff. Was a chilly -10 at 8,000ft - yet we picked up very little icing (only in the lower levels during climbout). 

Icy "dry" snowflakes don't stick to us, they do blow in through the air vents though, and did!!

Looking at the radar, seems a small really heavy patch of rain/snow between Salisbury/ Winchester/ Andover

Down to 2.8°C now but still raining. Probably not helped by the fact the heaviest has already passed here.

How far south is the snow based on that

To my untrained eye, the band is fizzling out as it moves east and less snow showing on the radar. I personally don't think the SE will see much of anything
