Yes likewise. I bet the chiltern hills near oxford are going to get a pasting.  

Band of showers looks similar to the frontal rain we had last night now, it keeps growing.

Had a few flakes recently in northwest Bristol but showers are too light. As mentioned above, the Severn seems to be weakening them.

Watlington has a good covering. We're a bit low down.  Very cold now.T down to 1.4c. Ice could be a problem

Soft hail shower just passed through here.  That's as close to snow as I've got this winter.
