Welsh mountains eating the ppn to the north as always expected lol. Hoping some of that ppn can pep up a bit coming off the Irish sea and up the Bristol Channel. A streamer would be nice..

Well net weather's forecast shows 12mm of snow between 11am and 3pm and met office shows heavy snow too. Could they both be wrong!?

Morning, are you home today? I'm at work near Bristol so don't expect anything there, also think if there's anything here it'll be gone by the time I get home. If you're at work too, there's no one on Mendip snow watch

Where would the best place to go if I went up there for a walk/to get good views/to see some snow today??

Showers now popping up off the coast of Wales. Was nothing an hour ago.

Now watch the Welsh mountains zapp the energy out of those showers, that's how it usually plays out when we have a cold NW wind blowing in showers.

That should band together later and bring a more organised area of ppn. what it falls as is another matter... you'll need elevation I'd suggest..

Those showers look light and patchy in nature. We need to see rapid development if anything meaningful is to be expected.

Here's the current situation. Beefing up nicely I think!

Only interested if it’s snow or, at worst, hail. If rain, it can stay dry lol.

Heavy showers gathering to our West. Looks like we're in for some v soon. Higher elevation should see snow.

Still looks light an patchy entering Bristol chanel and central West Country areas. Decent couple of cells formed south wales and south Devon corn areas.
