Well I guess that GFS 6z lifted everybodies spirits but I remember someone saying when it was showing bad output that we should ignore it because it's useless lol! I'm happy with the run but not getting excited until it gets into the accurate range.

Bright shiny object in the Southern sky alert! Just for a few minutes though as gloomy again now. 8.7c and breezier than for ages.

Fair play to my WXSIM forecast.. it said "A slight chance of rain" and we have fine drizzle. Temp 10.4°C.

I can remember just after Christmas when GFS was showing a cold ENE flow with -10 to -15 uppers around the 11th, now it's the 21st

It's gone from 16 days away to 10 days away in a time span of 12 days. That means, if I can still do maths that if it keeps being pushed back at the same rate, we will get very cold weather on... 

the 27th January! Remember you heard it here first lol!

It's a shame it's so far out, but the FV3 shows so many waves coming in from the Northerly direction which would produce snow showers and longer spells of snow for most, if not all of the British Isles. Wonderful looking charts!
