Morning All, another Groundhog Day in the making as the cloud persists. Currently Temp: 5.4 °C & Dew Point: 3.9 °C..

Was 5.2c at midnight and a low of 6.3c at 5:30am
Temp has dropped a little and now 5.9c, wind has moved to WNW from NW 4-6mph, 1037.7 hPa
Another grey sky start.

I’ve given up using words to describe the same thing over and over again. So I’ll just repeat what I posted earlier. And yes writing that makes this post longer than usual.

Yay! No doubt it will be full of spam again. Just had my dinner and there is "17+ unread messages", that equates to: 

• 14 messages of spam or moaning
• 1 message of someone telling everyone to shut up
• 1 message of a picture of model with no words explaining it
• And 1 actually helpful post

I know it's so annoying as I'm still relatively new here, I just want to learn about how the weather works but I can barely click on that tab on my browser without getting shivers of the bad news that's about to be given.

Well I was up at 4am in the wee hours and fell asleep on the MOD thread and when I woke up from my slumber at noon there was 98 - yes 98 unread messages!

Morning All, no need to panic today is the same as the one before and the ones before that, it's cloudy. Currently 7.1°C and has flat lined for most of the night on all the measures

Positives with the weather at the moment?

1. Drier spell has been welcome here, at least the amount of surface flooding on the roads has gone down.

2. Dry and not particularly windy = OK conditions to clean your car in.

3. OK, that's about it!

Be interesting to see how it works out later this month, despite the usual dramatic posts in the MOD thread. Personally I'm indifferent to whether we do end up with "proper winter" or not this year - last year was a really special event down here, of course if we get more snow then I won't be disappointed, but I'd trade in snow for a few more thunderstorms this year

Just for a change, it's cloudy, with the lightest bit of drizzle trying to fall. Mild too at 9C.

Fingers crossed for winter proper to arrive soon. It's gonna have to be pretty spectacular just to average the winter out thus far.
