Only managed 2.1hrs of sunshine today, cloudy for the most part. Temp reached 11.2°C though.

Partly cloudy now and I can see some stars.

Clearing skies might suggest the temperatures may fall away some more yet, as the night is but young. Currently Temp: 6.1 °C & Dew Point: 3.8 °C..

Just popped out to the car and noted something out the corner of my eye so looked up and saw a shooting star, hope that means I'll have good luck on the euro millions draw lol

Dropping quickly here now, down to 6.3°C. Pressure about to hit 1040 hPa, not the highest I've recorded but not far off and certainly the highest for some time.

Dilemma time.....the farm shop had bargain spruce trees this year (£15) so couldn't resist buying a couple of 8ft ones for either side of my front door. They look so pretty covered in fairy lights, but would look prettier still covered in snow too. I know they're supposed to come down by 6th Jan but so tempted to leave them until the end of the month just in case we get lucky. I suppose if any of the neighbours say anything I could always claim they're pot grown ones, designed to stay up all year round

Pressure is at 1040.37 hPa here. That is the highest since December 27th 2016.

Temp has flatlined here. Been at 5.6°C for the last hour.

The temperatures actually risen slightly here after dropping to 5.3°C it's gone back up to 5.7°C.

Noticed we have had no rain since early morning Christmas Eve.
Total for December was 114.9. Total for 2018 of 749.1, made up each month by 81.6 +32.5 + 97.5 + 74.1 + 39.8 + 2.8 + 30.7 + 77 + 39.7 + 52.3 + 106.2 + 114.9

A pleasant day yesterday, getting to 11.3c midday. 
Dropped to 2.4c at 5am.
Now, grey and cloudy, 4.8c, 1044 hPa, NNE wind 5mph.

1045mb! I think that’s the highest pressure I’ve ever recorded, pipping December 2016. Cold and frosty to go with it. Much better!

Cracking start to the day, but it's clouded over now. Checking Sat24, it looks like the METOs forecast of Sunshine all day is bobbins.

The OH has gone to Street for the day, where it looks much better.
