It’s been a reminiscing evening here including memories of the heatwave and Beasts. Out of those come the years lowest temperature which was -6.5c on my 40th birthday and the highest of 32.2c within a remarkable run of 26c+ days.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of our SW members scrape above 1°C during Thursday. It's starts off below freezing for most, slight temp rise (especially near the coast) but likely to be below freezing by 6pm. That's more like it!

Much better start to the day here, chilly, dry and broken cloud allowing glimpses of blue sky  Turned really quite windy here last night, was expecting some rain too but  thankfully it stayed dry instead of soaking all the party goers and their fireworks.

Much nicer today, a bit cloudier for a while just now but much more sunshine than recent days already. Still mild at the moment though at 11.0°C

A slight change to are weather on the way finally, currently 10C, with tomorrow looking much colder at only 4C at least feeling more seasonal with some sunny days in the forecast also.

Yes, new year and new weather here too.  Beautifully sunny morning, hardly a breath of breeze, felt almost warm out walking this morning.  Clouded over, as expected, late morning, but there's still plenty of blue bits and glimpses of sunshine.  Max temp 10.4°C about half an hour ago.

After another dull and mild day hopefully tomorrow will feel much more seasonal! Low 2.7C at 06:55, High 10.3C at 14:18, currently 8.4C.

Sunny at times but mostly cloudy for much of the day. Still mild today, in fact when the sun came out it reached 12.1°C. Currently 9.5°C

The cloud did roll in rather early, so we headed for the coast where it was much brighter.

Parked at West Cliff and walked to Sandbanks and back. It was heaving on the way back. Kids, dogs, beach bbqs. Great stuff.

Was nice on the beach this afternoon. Managed to time it just right with one of the sunnier parts of the day.
