Thick fog here since about 03.00.  A very, very brief glimpse of a very, very hazy sun for about half an hour just after midday, now even thicker than it was earlier.  Completely fuggered up our idea of going to the coast for the day.  Currently 5°C and feeling bitterly cold out there.  Staying in and keeping warm.

It looks like the coast is clear... :reindeer-emoji:

It's been nice here too today. Shame I'm working, but I'm sure the cloud and murk will be back in time for the weekend.

Could've had a nice sunset picture tonight but the houses to the SW block my view! But when the sun was more directly west in the summer I could always get perfect pictures without venturing out.

We can just about see it. Nice bit of mist rolling in too.

Just popped out for a smoke to see the trusty shed roof white & frosty. The dew that stayed on the grass all day has frozen too. Temp 1.8°C.

Fog eventually cleared here around 21.00, can see the lights of Sherborne, about two miles as the crow flies.  Bet it's back in the morning,

Down to 2.4°C which is the lowest for a while. Nice to have a more seasonal feel to the last few days even if it's still not that cold.

And now it's rising quickly again as happened the last time it dropped this low. Up to 3.9°C.

Morning All, a cloudy night kept the temperatures up, with the clearing this morning allowing the temperatures to fall to their lowest values of Temp: 2.7 °C & Dew Point: 1.8 °C. Looking pleasant as the sun begins to creep upwards..

WXSIM 1 - 0 Met Office - Blue skies here.

As for the fog warning, we had no fog. It always happens! When we get bad fog, there's no warning.

It’s happened again. Just after I post it’s cloudy, the sun comes out and the sky clears.
