Sunny start and a bit cooler than of late but still pleasant in the sun. 9.4°C

It's stayed dry here but clouded over to greyness AGAIN. Tree's all down, having seen the amount of rot at the base, I'm feeling less guilty and more relieved that it's down before it fell down.

Wonder if we'll ever see another dry SUNNY day here again before next summer, feels like an eternity since the last proper one that lasted all day. So bored with this greyness.

Sunny spells today but it has been calm, which allowed me to dig out two old fence posts and replace them. Jeez.. I was the one who concreted the old one's in - I had to dig out about two feet of concrete, nightmare!

Temp managed 10.3°C today, currently 8.8°C.

Not a bad day in the end, even though it clouded over for a large part of the afternoon there were still a few decent sunny spells and it was dry for the second day in a row. Reached 10.0°C.

Today was the first dry day for a fortnight! Enough said I think!

Just doing a quick scan through my data for the last few years.. October 1st to December 10th this year has been milder than the same period in 2015, 16 and 17. I have seen less frosts this year period too.

Down to 3.2°C so far tonight so it's not far off the coldest night of the month so far, not that it's got much competition.

A pleasant day yesterday with temps 8-10c
Was 6c at midnight and a low of 4.4c at 6am

Now 5.3c, 1025.4 hPa, Light ENE wind.

Pretty much the exact opposite in Warminster and Westbury! Really pleasant too.

I've just popped in for a break. Perfect weather at the moment for doing some weeding and general maintenance of the garden.

Good sunny spells and 10.6°C

It started brightening up a bit about an hour ago but didn’t last. So a sunny morning followed by a gloomy afternoon. 10.0°C
