Have just spent another wet day at Exeter’s Christmas markets and drove through some real summer-style downpours on the M5 coming home.

Christmas decorations went up today, I must say though I hope we get some cold weather and/or snow to make things even more festive.

Nearly all the showers missed here this afternoon but it looks like a red blob might be heading straight towards me. 1.2mm before the shower arrives (if it does).

Something that feels more seasonal would be a start.

Well I ended up with just 0.2mm from that shower as yet again it mostly missed here. 1.4mm in total.

Really? I managed to be first in the street as I hung them on the last day of November (Maybe I upset the weather gods ), but the rest of the street has caught up now finally..

One house on our street goes properly American style with the lights on their house next time I see it (probably next Thursday for my shift in the Charity shop) It's really amazing I'll try to remember to send a picture of it

Not me!  It's directly overhead as I type.  Wind's howling and the rain belting against the windows really, really hard.  All the showers this afternoon and evening have been squally but mostly short lived.  Roll on a quieter day tomorrow

It broke up as it got here. The wind has gotten up again though.

Some lively looking showers around at the moment looking at the radar, just started raining here. Seems it won't miss me this time.

Looks like the bottom end of the next line might take a swipe at us in a little while too.

I had a text from a mate in Devizes about lightning and thunder.
