If I could get one of my stations to play ball I'd be able to say what I've seen clear liquid wise...

Actually I can access one unit, it suggests 16.2mm, the other ooooo, it works (damn BT) suggests 19mm, so you live in the drier eastern part of the country Matt...

So the dry/colder likelihood is now almost non existent and probably average at coolest allied to tomorrow now looking very showery, Sunday still showery then a drier Monday/Tuesday before yet more rain from the West on Wednesday!

Looks like you’ve got the heavier end of the line of showers that’s just reached here. Just started raining lightly here and the winds picking up after being calm all afternoon.

shame they got rid of the moaning thread. the local weather forecasts what the hell !!

what was suggested a couple days ago, has changed... they still say 'getting colder'

if you go to the Met Office website, and look at the 7 day forecast for your local area (may be computer generated)

certainly does not show it turning colder at all. South winds during next week

Morning all the low temperature yesterday evening has been rising through the night now 9.1C with a gusty breeze in from the WSW. Suspect that wind will be a noticeable factor today.

despite their own website showing over 50mph gusts inland for the last 5 days, the met office only issue the yellow wind warning for SW, hours before the start time. unbelievable

Gusting to the mid-thirties at my station. 8th day in a row of rainfall. Temp 12.4°C.

A few heavier bursts appearing now. I suspect they'll produce some extra gusty wind if you end up under one of them.
