A few cloud breaks forming after midnight allowing a ground frost, though low cloud and fog quickly formed. The morning dawned foggy, vis <300 yards. At observation, fog thinning a little, feeling cold in a moderate ESE wind.

Minimum temperature overnight 2.0∞C

A cloudy night with drizzle and light rain. A good deal of cloud with drizzle this morning. A few brighter spells appearing towards observation. Bright and sunny spells developed by the end of the morning, continuing in to the afternoon.

A cold day with misty conditions early this replaced by cloudy grey skies with rain arriving by mid afternoon which was heavy at times a cold day

Thick fog until 1300, the fog then lifted as moderate rain arrived to give a wet afternoon. The fog returned at 1600 and the rain became lighter towards evening.
