I’m glad you clarified that Roger, otherwise I would be worried!  It sounds like you are now expecting colder conditions to take holder later than first thought?

EDIT:  Actually, perhaps not as your winter forecast points towards the first bout of cold near the end of December.

Will got for 4.5*C please and 70mm of rain/snow.

Do feel it will be mild or average at first. Cold with heavy snow on Christmas Day - even South of the M4.

Going for 6C so a mild one if it goes above 6.5C we can forget about a cold winter. Rainfall 75mm

the winner in 2015 for Dec, even I underestimated the warmth, was 2nd I think
