Here in canterbury it's a barmy 4c with dew points not much better.

Oh and drizzle, it's grim

TV signal going funny here now, moderate snow still coming down. I'd imagine Alton is getting hit quite hard right now!

I don't know if I've got the energy for another night of this!!!😂😂

Anyway, I'm organising a Netweather SE Regional Thread coach trip to Basingstoke tomorrow, £25 a head, includes a pile of snow each to make one medium snowman and throw 20 snowballs!!!🤪🤪🤪xx

I'll have some of that, cheers

Currently 1.3c with a dp of 0.6c - definitely going the right way in Reigate but I think we are too Far East...

Have been sat under that stream coming into Kent off The Channel for 6 hours - it’s been pouring with rain all afternoon - imagine if that had been snow! Thrilled to see other areas in our region being buried x

Mostly rain here with a few flakes.

Amazing seeing what other areas to my west have had. Just shows you that you never know what can happen even a few hours out.

would obviously love a surprise but it’s so wet here that I just can’t see how if it turns to snow that it would settle. It’s have to be so heavy to stand a chance

Here's a thought.  It would be lovely if all the pink on the radar got to move East a cross the country we might stand a chance of getting a covering of snow here from it.

Its not so much moving SE as pulsing SE. You can see that one line of snow dies off, then another forms to its SE, and this process is repeating itself over and over again.

However the area is also contracting as the area of higher energy shrinks, as was forecasted by the models.

Backbuilding by the looks of things

Have you got snow now?

Hope you have! We deserve it after yesterday nights rubbish!

Light snow now as the main band is just to my NW, but every bit of snow should settle from now on, so it all helps!

It's not all snow out here. Still raining in Portsmouth. Despite having a dedicated new weather warning over us! Total opposite of last night when it was snowing when the Met said there should be heavy rain!

How deep is it in Liphook @kold weather

Radar building over London. We have light sleety, wet snow. Hopefully if the intensity builds and the temp keeps dropping it will become proper snow.
