Becoming really dark now in Thanet after a glorious Sunny morning. Something's brewing in the skies overhead now...

Agreed, temp has dropped from 1.6c to 0.8c in a little over 20 minutes.

Certainly feels like something is coming

Is it all really going to turn to rain the South East of the South East in the morning? Gutted about that bit.

That looks crap for Essex to be brutally honest. Was expecting much much more from this.

Careful now.

it reminds me of the premature celebrations in the mod thread when everyone thought the easterly was nailed on a couple of weeks back

Quite fragmented behind the main front on the eastern side isn’t it?

one thing you should do is never take them graphics for gospel in any circumstances, its just a prediction so stick to the radar.

Rather interestingly the high winds forecast to increase this afternoon appear not to have done so. A gentle breeze outside here for now.

The winds have really increased here, sky has gone a milky grey with a big temp drop

Yeah Tuesday was naff, and tonight looks like it could be equally naff. We've been on the periphery of both mini-events this year!

I'm expecting a few flakes at least, and maybe a surprise will emerge? Who knows, still keeping an eye on the radar for the day though 😂.

Eastern Essex is pretty much out of this race I feel.

Snow more likely in Cornwall than Essex at this point
