Well if I can just get more than 2-3 flakes of snow, then I probably wouldn't be so fobbed off...

I've never personally had a bust as severe as this one I've got to say, literally nothing!

You have a bust? Thanks for the mammaries

Hirlam and ec both move that small low n of Cherbourg nne into Hampshire. Icon fills it in situ

the predicted snowfall differences  on the  models is clear

Quite clear the LP is moving into Hampshire, you can tell by the arch of the front and where it is...and that is why I've got no snow and no hope of it as the front has just passed through here.

Okay we’re away! Small flakes blowing about in the not insignificant wind, just outside Brentwood. Most of it’s in the air but it’s a start! ??

It’s bizarre to see such a disagreement at such short range .

The current pressure chart shows that small low pressure 980.

There is a beefy shower following the back edge. Heading towards Eastleigh. If this passes over it will give a couple of mm's even in 15/20 mins.. The main low off Dorset seems to have filled out.

Yes, but guess where that gap between the snow showers is heading...yep...couldn't make that up!

Stopped on the seafront in Hastings/St Leonards now. Will be all for tonight here. So much for 9pm til 4am!

Half a centimetre on the wall... that's about it. Wasn't to be tonight but enjoy it whoever has a good amount!

Radar watching is horrible. It never looks good until it is. Everything crossed.

Still coming down nicely here. Probably around a 6.5 on the Murr scale.

Snow is very slowly beginning to show signs of tapering off now... But WOW! We must be coming on to about 4.5cm now, with every surface covered!

Definitely, paths and roads are well gritted on campus but they are finally beginning to get a dusting.
