They have been chastising me since I referred to this. They will not drop it and give me peace.

Who's "they"? What's this got to do with the regional discussions?

Not in the SE but few of my favourite posters are so been in here a lot today to see what they’ve had to say etc. Anyway a couple times Swindon to Reading has been mentioned as the possible sweet spot. I’m in Swindon.

Snow finally started about 30 minutes ago, paths etc all well covered now. Let’s see if this pans out

Am glad you are getting some snow, good luck and let us know the depth when its finally over

There isn't going to be much more than we already have. If its not doing the job now, its not going to do it full stop. Sorry mate, I did warn people that I was in the screw zone...and by extension you are as well.

Remember, 1cm and I take a trip in my birthday suit into the streets!

Kold mate..... we know you are frustrated ....maybe let it go now .....many of us haven’t even got a dusting as yet .....why not wait till the morning and we can compare our snow/no snow !

Looks like Kent and East Sussex are going to do well out of this, seems to be breaking apart to the south of here as it moves north towards Croydon, typical!

It's like the good charts that always seem to be 10 days away, every time I check the met office app for South Norwood the heavy snow is coming later though lasting longer! It now has heavy snow for this area starting at midnight into rush hour tomorrow and then a mixture of sleet and light rain all day!

Bognor Regis seems to be in the sweet spot, getting a good dumping. Misses said 2 inches so far and still falling heavy.

Just difficult when you are in a zone where everyone around you has had snow and you've had literally nothing with no sign of anything changing either.

I can wait till the morning and be sad then!

I've always found NW radar to be somewhat 'rampy' over the years.

I've just found this https://www.metcheck.com/WEATHER/precipitype.asp?V=Z

How cool is that? Not rampy, either!

I use that site too.  The radar is good.

They also use a combo of GFS and other models (albeit free ones) for their forecasts.

Kent peeps:

Run the radar https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar and watch the pivot off the Channel and building in to Kent!

I was just about to post the same.

Looks to have sped up a tad too, so it should be on its way properly through kent within the next hour (going by the radar anyway lol)
