Good luck the night Mr Murr looking good for later..

Makes interesting viewing watching that main bands trajectory. Looks way East of where it was predicted? Seems to swinging North West somewhat as indicated by your helpful arrow. Some of us could be in luck if the precipitation does not die out.

Thanks. On full snow watch! The track is definitely more Easterly (more intense than expected on east flank). If the showers dont break up over London - some areas in North London/ Essex and Hertfordshire could do well.

Looking at the radar the precipitation is really building up south of Reading i think Reading will do well in next hour or so.

I keep looking at all the different radars and hoping it gets here soon.

What's my chances like here?  Met office keep pushing the time further. Was 9pm now close to midnight

Going to be one of those slow ‘opening of the curtains’ in the morning ......full of expectations ...........bit like watching doctor who from behind the sofa when you were a kid (you’re not of that generation but plenty on here are) .....

Nothing happening in Clacton yet. Radar has shown a band developing in situ overhead but nothing getting to the surface. It's feeling extremely cold out there now though.

I'm going to definitely be one of the lowest totals from this, too far south for the band that kicked off to the north, and looking like being a little bit too far west for the band rotating around the low into Sussex. I'm going to split the middle and get into the weaker stuff on either side of those bands. Probably 1cm here I'd say, probably a decent amoubt more to my east and quite abit more to my north/north-east

Areas to my east that are in the dry slot should be fine with that area coming up from the channel.

Certainly beginning to look good for us!! I had to drive into Dorking at about half 3 this afternoon. The lying snow from Tuesday petered out just outside westcott... But was flipping cold, never got over 2 in either direction

We didn’t get much in Tuesday night - the ice was awful though and made for an interesting walk to work. Tomorrow morning should be fun if it doesn’t thaw quickly!

Is it me or is it struggling down in the South East Corner?

Ha! Sorry, far too cosy lamppost watching in front of the fire.

Its looking increasing more positive for us Brightonians this time around though

Looking excellent when that band edges in. Slowly slowly catch the monkey

Nothing here in Hooe. No real precipitation. Dandruff and 1degc with dew point at -1.

looks like too much wind and the precipitation is just breaking up. Can’t see any real accumulations from this sadly.

Christ. Watching that radar is like pulling teeth! Just melts away mid channel, reminds me of watching imported storms in the summer!

Snowing hard and wind at about 25mph here in W Sussex near to Worthing.

Looks a treat out of the window, unusual and unexpected for this normally snowless part of the world!
