It's started snowing here in Selsdon about 19.30

Sorry should have clarified, I was referring to the heavier stuff. I'll take whatever is available though so feel free to blow some up the road

I know what's happening, but the radar is making me nervous...

I wonder though if the modelled winds and dewpoints might be wrong for the morning though, if this LP has not behaved as it should and lands in a different position to where it was modelled then the winds might be ENE and not ESE by dawn which should make the dewpoints better for us

That's what I'm curious about as well, if the system keeps heading ENE surely the low would east of us out over the north sea bringing a more direct E feed rather than a SE'ly one?

Definetly still cold enough here for snow btw Temp is 1.7c and a DP of -1.1c. Either way its likely to be a late night here.

Starting to settle on the pavements and roads. Not seen that in Dorking for a while...

Certainly beginning to look good for us!! I had to drive into Dorking at about half 3 this afternoon. The lying snow from Tuesday petered out just outside westcott... But was flipping cold, never got over 2 in either direction

Dandruff in Worthing, not settling.

At current rates we’ll have a cm by 2099

It's not going east whys there so many people sayings it's going east , the radar clearly shows it's moving northwards

Love these nights of expectation, the anticipation is almost as good as actually getting snow, guess that's why we are all here.

Starting to snow properly here in Tunbridge Wells and settling immediately, indeed you can see individual snowflakes freezing on surfaces - am starting to feel hopeful....

Just down the road in Crowborough just some flakes in the wind so far! hopefully pick up soon

Your best one is the Meteox. You can see the curve back nw more easily . You can also see the effect of the shortwave in the Channel.

Quick look, sort of see it. Their hourly forecast is hopefully well off...

Reading looks like its about to clobbered, among other places.

it'll need to get a move on. microscopic flakes currently coming down. radar seems to indicate the front is really breaking down on landfall
