Starting to snow properly here in Tunbridge Wells and settling immediately, indeed you can see individual snowflakes freezing on surfaces - am starting to feel hopeful....

Here in South Norwood (Croydon) according to the Met Office app the snow was due to arrive around 5 PM then 7 PM then 9 PM and now it's 11PM. This just goes to show how difficult it is to predict the weather in a particular location

It's started snowing here in Selsdon about 19.30

Remember folks it’s not a normal slider low.

The pivot of the low and the shortwave in the Channel help to stop the whole thing sliding off into the sunset !

So what you have is the precip back building nw .

Be interesting to see how far NW it makes it.

Very light snow now falling here in Bagshot.

OAT -0.2 deg. C. DP -3.

The darker pink echoes have just reached us and would expect the intensity to start increasing soon. Let's hope so anyway..

Sadly won't make much northwards progress as the whole lot seems to be shifting eastwards

Shifting eastwards and moving WNW. Watch the radar animation!

I think there should be a note at the top of the page to explain this!

Thanks .  So you’re in Burnham at the moment . Or Norfolk ?

Is that the Burnham in Somerset, haven’t you had snow already . If you’re in Norfolk it’s a bit of a tall order with the set up overnight to get a lot there .

I'm 'wintering' in the lesser known Burnham 'on Crouch' which is a river like a mud filled ditch after a flood (like my late Father used to say)  - just north of Sarrfend on sea, any chances? or maybe some rain/sleet on the coast.

Far easier to see this watching the radar animation for the last couple of hours, it's a little hard to see flicking from frames on the radar. If you're worried about it all heading off for a holiday in France, run the animation

Nothing much falling atm... The snow is melting when it comes into contact on certain surfaces.

Your best one is the Meteox. You can see the curve back nw more easily . You can also see the effect of the shortwave in the Channel.
