Temps steadily dropping here in Holmbury St Mary at 184asl, that's my height, the village is about another 60m lower.

Ah, you are just under five miles away (and over 100 metres up) from me - I hope you do well out of this!

It’s a double edged sword .

If the band just rushed north then the drama would be the snow turning to rain but it would arrive more quickly .

You have to have the band moving east and north if you’re in southern and se areas. This event by its nature won’t please everyone . Unfortunately very few events do in the UK.

What are your thoughts on the possible Easterly incoming next week?

I’ve got two problems:

I’ve got no lamppost at school and I’ve got homework to do!

Nothing will stop me from constantly refreshing the radar however.

Snow petered out here--a very light dusting on the car roof--that's it for now

Unless i have a broken radar, this has gone completely Pete Tong unless you live in Kent, No northward extent and main band nearly in the North Sea!
