Good luck all this evening.:snowman-emoji:

Damn shame it started as rain as it pelted down (temp 4.5C at about 4pm) Temp dropped to 2C  in about 30 minutes turning to heavy snow. Nothing settled sadly and has been very light for the last hour or so. Hoping Thursday is a better event!

Take care with travelling around in the morning - gonna be damn icy!

1cm everything covered in Stevenage. Patience Dan, we did say it would start as rain

Stevenage has some nice elevation, been there a few years back and seen some cracking snow.

The snow has become lighter and smaller in size. I wonder will it get heavier again before the clearance in a couple of hours?

Weird, i've never noticed this before today but

the last couple hours of rain the sky has been pitch black, but now that there's a few flakes mixed it, you can actually see the sky,  and it's a deep orange colour! Is that the snow catching the street lights high up in the sky?

I’m glad your getting some snow @TomSE12 you’ve given us some lovely posts over the last few months or so you deserve it.

Thanks for those very kind words, Donna. Did think it would be a rain to snow event. But as I stated the other day was hoping for an event resembling, Dec.1981. That gave me a 2 inch covering in Camberwell, inner London. We're not going to get that!! Let's hope for better luck, on Thursday.

Regards,

Tom. :hi:

Reigate:  1.8c temp, 1.0c dewpoint, quite sharp falls in both in the last 45 minutes or so.  Sleeting.
