Agree with this Rambo

Some shockingly childish behaviour in here tonight, its the same when a bolt of lightning does not land in someones garden in the Summer when people have a go at a forecast.

I would probably urge the people that do have a go in here to just not bother and just leave people to post up forecasts from the Beeb or their Iphones in future, then they can stand in front of a mirror and have a go at their phones instead of venting on here.

Truly Pathetic!

this place is weird. 95% of posters only come out when it's 'going' to snow. it's really hard to distinguish good from bad posters as post count or likes aren't an indicator of quality

Couldn’t agree more. Often those who have the least to say, say the most. It brings nothing to the forum.

update on the rain.. still rain

Anybody got any way of telling if its sleety that doesn't involve a naked ice dance outside or sticking my head out the window?

edit: serious question btw lol, can't tell if it's pure rain or not anymore

It has been mentioned multiple times that this event will largely start as rain, and then gradually transition to sleet/snow from west to east as the cold undercut takes place. So it shouldn't really be much of a surprise if you've got rain at this early stage in the evening? It is all going to the original plan...

Let’s hope it’s like dec 2017  I had to push my bike home from work because spokes got clogged up with snow 1ftdeep.
