I wouldn’t read that as a city forecast so 1-3cm in london and 2-8cm north of there - probably south east & east of there too. Remember a high population live within M25 and will be sleety there

Heavy rain quickly turned to very heavy sleet and is now a moderate snow/sleet mix in Reading

ECM shifts even further south with the core of the heavier precip, now the heavy stuff (2 inches in 3hrs) is limited to southern counties of England. There is snow for this whole region but its not too amazing, probably 2-3 inches broadly speaking for most.

ECM also does have a weaker front in general that weakens faster this run.

I’d bite your hand off for 2-3 inches of snow.

And as I said that ECM rolls out and gives us a pasting on Thursday with it much further south and nothing marginal at all about Thursday

ECM precipitation charts for Thursday, slightly further north than I expected.

Weather online is showing dew points of 1 in the SE and EA and negative dew points on the near continent. Hopefully the negative dew points will filter our way.

ECM is one hell of an upgrade for us on Tuesday, couldn't track more perfectly with the heaviest stuff slap bang over us!
