3.6 and falling...It's almost as agonising as listening to Jacob Rees-Smugg commentating on MoTD!

Hate to say this but I just walked home with bare legs, bare hands, no scarf and a tshirt under my jacket, and I was warm enough.

It wasn't cold at all today. In some places temps crept up to average. This is the level of desperation this winter, when a day like today is described by some people as cold!

Wow, 1-3cm.

Conservative from what I can see at the moment. But probably no bad thing to be so at the moment. Most models I've seen show about double that.

Rain coming down nicely, rain drops just getting that feel about them though.

Guessing nobody even bothered watching the Video posted yesterday then.

I did say that between 4-7pm this thread would be dominated with people gfuqhgfpjhing about rain when thats what was exactly what was expected to happen before the undercut came in

Guessing that was the best forecast of the week

I think judging by the national forecast (earlier) when the undercut of cold air is experienced the front is expected to be quite narrow over the south east...

You can't get snow with a 1c dew point. I had heavy rain at 1.5c two days ago.

You can think I’ve had snow a number of times with a dew point of 2C dew points at 0C and under are important though not too cold though as often not much moisture..

Wasnt privvy to that Forecast nor would I watch the drivel they spill out, but Dans Video laid it out pretty well and its pretty much going to plan from what he said.

ECM shifts even further south with the core of the heavier precip, now the heavy stuff (2 inches in 3hrs) is limited to southern counties of England. There is snow for this whole region but its not too amazing, probably 2-3 inches broadly speaking for most.

ECM also does have a weaker front in general that weakens faster this run.

Btw I have always been on the opinion that 99% of places will get a slushfest from this which will ice over in the morning, some of the hills like the South Downs etc could get 3-5cm but thats literally the 1%

The other video grab posted above is GOOD for our region as the Beeb are downplaying Thursday, which can only mean 1 thing. UPGRADES!
