We got enough to turn the grass white-ish.  Totally unexpected so a nice suprise, just a shame it didn't turn to snow earlier.

Yep as others have said I have never seen flakes that big in all my life they was the size of my hands . Anyway this lot has now cleared through here now the stuff further north west seems to be dissipating but I do to my suprise have a light covering on the cars and grass left over which will no doubt now freeze .

Great to see some are finally getting a bit of snow!

Been hoping the channel stuff would rotate up but it’s just skimming me. The lighter echos aren’t reaching the ground either so now hoping the precipitation in west Kent can hold it together..

I drove home from Borough Green during the dry slot got to Meopham and there were some lovely proper flakes which continued until I got to around Istead rise where it was a bit of a mix of sleet and wet snow now back in Gravesend it's been alternating  between Rain at first especially and now mainly Sleet. Tbh I'm more interested in the weather front shown on BBC weather for tomorrow (atleast it should be cold enough for all snow) Elizabeth Rizin the weather lady said the front could bring some snow as far inland as East London in the morning! Looks like several good pulses of snowfall for the east of our region!

Have you seen the met office radar? Apparently the heaven's will open directly over us releasing all kinds of precipitation and then it swings back for a double hit.

I think my snow has turned sleety, had a bit settle on the garden chairs and bin lids and it' all gone. still got something light falling, but never got the big flakes others have had.
