WOAH, was not expecting this. We're not far off 10cm here in Barnet. None of the roads have been gritted, traffic is gridlocked and many cars and buses have been abandoned. Without doubt the biggest flakes I've ever seen. Love it when the weather surprises you.

It has and the best I got out of it was melted snow. Aka rain - but that rain that hits a car windscreen with evidence that it was once snow!

I'm not entirely sure; my take on it is that this main feature clears a bit later on, then it will be largely clear and cold, with the odd snow shower left behind...

Hope you are right, it's starting to cloud up a bit but not sure what direction the steering wind is coming from!
