hey! Thanks for the heads up  I'm not sure if the cloud is breaking up before it gets to me or not. I even took an brolly on the school run thinking there was 'something' coming but nothing, although I could see heavy clouds. 

But in beddy If it's going to mess up it does it in style :

Woohoo, work from home day - a chance to enjoy some snow showers and join the fun and.....it's light rain here.  Human snow and storm shield powering up for 2019.

Very heavy snow in Watford for last half hour. Already a light covering

Right on the band edge of precipitation here in burgess hill. Nothing yet but not expecting anything either. Perhaps a bit of sleepiness once the temp has dropped. Was beautiful and sunny earlier warming the temps up really quickly so the band is coming across just a little too early. Would have been nice to have clear skies to lower the surface temps prior to it clouding over. Ah well.

Rain/sleet so far in Croydon, sky looks heavy with snow to the west
