Will this build further back? Looks like it won't stick around for too long

Some transient settling possible in the heavier bursts, unless some showers follow on and arrive in the evening then unlikely to amount to much/anything. Significant settling snow was never forecast - just the outside chance of anything up to 1cm and some slushy deposits !

Gone very dark at the office near Harefield.  Precipitation feels close. Accdg to wunderground it's 4c and dewpoint is around 0c.  In home town of Reigate it's 4.2c but the dewpoint has risen slightly to 2c.  Interesting hour or 2 ahead.

If you go on Instagram type reading in the search bar click on the reading location tag and you can see people's stories who are in Reading.

Its a quick easy way to see whats happening on ground level as everyone is posting videos of snow.

Wintry showers will clear most places this evening, then clear spells overnight. Some wintry showers may persist in Kent with some accumulation possible. A widespread frost with risk of icy stretches on untreated surfaces. Winds will be light and variable. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

Latest MetO forecast. Weather Channel is calling for 3-7cm in Ashford?!?
