Wait, what?

9c and cloudy. Feels milder.

Winter certainly passing us by.

Shame really, and made worse given the boring tediousness of whats on offer for the foreseeable.

Oh to be in England in the wintertime - NOT!, another dull featureless day out there coming up to add to the numerous we've had since November.

Hello again South Easterners, back for a bit of a winter frolic now that there's a vague sniff of interesting, cold weather!

I've been lurking around the other threads, nothing new there... same issues as always...

Much milder so far today at 7.7C, similar feel to New Years Day - Becoming much cooler again by the end of the week though.

Have we had winter yet then, i never noticed. (Scratches his head):olddoh:

Ha ha, after reading the ups and downs of the mad thread, where one minute it's game on and then a 180 degree reversal to doom and gloom, thought I'd post a picture of something that can be guaranteed.  I love snow more than anything! Photo from last year in the village!

Hope everyones staying topped up with Vitamin D! Seriously - not seen the sun for days here

Tomorrow should at least herald some brighter and ''fresher'' weather, maybe even with a sleety passing by Wednesday :yahoo:

At least its been less hassle getting to work so far this season!! And my wife certainly doesn't mind (she hates the cold - and she's Russian !!)

It is much windier now.

How do I know this?

Next door put a 'happy birthday' banner on their front door and the bottom half came away from the door and was blowing in front of our window.

I have put it back on twice, but alas, it came to part that it fell off again and made friends with the road.

sorry next door, I tried.

Back in the UK for a couple of days, surprisingly mild here for January with the usual grey skies.
