Blessed Weather

Recommended Posts

For Kent essex / SE london the ppn is likely now to be rain- this is because the melt layer ( ~950mb ) is turning the snow to rain- because PPN is light its melting as its falling snow through the melt layer

thats why hastings etc got snow in that very heavy PPN zone because the snow is getting through the melt layer...

Check temps on the rise here on the Essex coast, now up to 3c - no chance of anything but cold rain, I'd temper your hopes people...

With temps hovering around 2.5/3c here no chance other than cold rain falling once that ppn hits.

Perfect excuse to stay at home and binge Netflix, on a cold wet Saturday afternoon.

3.6C and no precipitation here.

Looks like this one is a blank for 99% of us!

Dp’s  still sub zero for much of the region ......... intensity of precipitation required but with it so slow moving, seems the heavier stuff will arrive once the dp’s are positive ..........

Hoping that this SE flow keeps the DP`s negative but straw clutching.

Looks like all the fun and games over for this cold snap. Looks like the onslaught of the Atlantic returning for a week at least.

just been reading the comments in the MOD thread, people on there making presumptions on what is showing 10 days out. As we know going out more than 4 days is something that will always be subject to change.

the good news is that the mets long term outlook still sees something brewing. So we will have to see what pans out considering we still have 16 days of December to go the forcast is subject to change.

Anyway peeps love you and leave you all. Have a great day.

kind regards

my wait for a winter wonderland continues

Rather the rain stays away tbh. Got an important U14 football match tomorrow morning and also don’t want to be sitting watching Southend United in the jaffa cakesing rain this afternoon. The football is bad enough as it is ⚽

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
