After a cold start light showers of rain and sleet and snow on high ground moved in. In the peak district giving a patchy cover at times

Light snow showers at first this morning turned to sleet by late morning and died out during the early afternoon. The cloud eventually cleared from the north around sunset.

Yesterday: cloudy start with light rain, then sunny spells and a couple of light showers. Feeling cold in the wind. Maximum 11.9, minimum 8.5. Wind moderate NW.
