How about this for Holy Grail.

 

First one is the low tracking over the UK, which would then leave the cold pool in the east to tap into. At which point we could tap back into the low and existing cold pool for a 3rd wave of cold.

Snowing here, enough to give a bit of deposit on the grass/windscreen. Tuesday still looking promising for something more substantial.

Starting to settle on pavements now. Wasn't expecting to see settling snow this evening to be honest. Can't see us getting more than a dusting. Nice to see all the same.

Pretty much the same...snowing here...settling too but has a wet/sleety look so don't know if it will be there tomorrow morning.  Think temps are slightly above zero at present.
