I have that feeling too. Fingers crossed though.

Don’t think there’s much feeling involved pal, once these things trend south, they don’t go back north. Tonight’s highest performing U.K. models show the front finishing about 80-100 miles south of your location.

Bit of a crap Granada Reports forecast "maybe a few snow showers overnight" the animation showed really scattered showers. He wasn't bullish about anything heavy.

I think you need to charge your battery

Battery is knackered and only charges from flat.

Sorry folks but tonight’s UKMO and ECM don’t really have Thursdays front reaching the Midlands.

Game over on that one.

When these showers starting?

Yup. Thursday looking increasingly unlikely to bear fruit here. Let's hope for some Irish sea streamers tonight.

Yep and one a couple mile off shore going to skirt just south of here, wish we could just have a couple decent showers for once giving a covering.

There’s still time to play there may be more northern correction, there may be more southern correction.

It’s getting like the mad thread in here with all the sulking.

Can you blame us. This winter has been dreadful. It's the end of January and I've had one decent snow event with a covering under a cm and a dusting from fairly heavy snowfall on both occassions. And it looks as though both the showers overnight and the low on Thursday are going to deliver nothing here, we're 2 months into winter, I'd expect a bit better than this. Many in this thread haven't even had a covering this winter, no wonder people are a bit miserable.

Waiting 9 years for another proper winter generally makes one sulky
