A load of slush - YET AGAIN - after all the hype - YET AGAIN!!

In all fairness, we haven’t been hyping the band  just the showers which are due any time soon

You might get something from that, they wont hit further inland so could be a case of them being wasted again, ie- you get sleet because of your altitude being low and proximity to the coast and i get nothing due to lack of PPN - so no good for anyone.

Been crap. No more than a slushy dusting like last week. Hopefully any showers tonight will be better but won't hold my breath. Again this is no match for last year's double beast.

It will be good if the Irish sea can fire up some of those showers... feel pretty hopeful they will fall as snow as the marginals become favourable.  Apps still have diddly squat this evening/overnight but let's hope they've been caught on the hop and showers start breaking out.

I mean i was unlucky with the beast because i had about 4-5 inchess over 3 days but narrowly missed out on what could hae been double, but at least loads of people did do well out of it - no one south of Scotland has done really well this winter yet.

It's all about the showers tonight/tomorrow morning.

If they fail to materialise, then it's toys out of the pram time.

Today delivered (or didn't) exactly as expected - I know this as I've been glued to the charts.

The real opportunity is tonight/tomorrow morning - if no snow comes then we can all rightly have a proper moan.

MetO have me down for light snow between 0100 and 1100 tomorrow, unusual to see that.

GFS still insisting we get a snow event on Thursday

It sure is mate and the ICON has trended back North today too, ECM doesn't need much of a shunt north either to be disruptive snow to at least the southern parts of the region. I'm not sure on UKMO as don't get to see precipitation charts, will post updated ECM ones later.

GFS

The ICON doesn't quite make it but has an interesting twist to it's latest output! look at the wraparound for Saturday! One to watch for sure.

Nice trough features for tonight/tomorrow showing up on the latest fax, should beef up the showers nicely.

As it stands not bad at all really.

That looks bloody brilliant - i dont believe a word of it unfortunately- experience tells me any snow showers will slip SW of me, guess we will see.
