Scotland seems to be best place if you want Snow, they seem to get some decent storms in recent years as well

You have to be careful with Scotland though, there are really poor areas as well in Scotland for snow.

Most of Scotland is mountainous, lower areas (and most of their large settlements) are poor for snow. I think if I was younger I would move to Scandinavia or Eastern Europe for reliable snow each Winter. Or the Alps.

Not surprised as the southerly correction for Thursday's low...anything on Thursday will be a bonus here...so hoping the white goods get delivered tomorrow.

Perhaps we should all save up and go on a vacation next Winter to some were snowy a bit like the storm chasers in this forum do

I don't think they were worse tbh.

I think i'd perhaps confused 16/17 with another, but 13/14 was dreadful here i dont think we even saw a single snowflake, this year has beat that so far!

I still think we could see something tomorrow and Thursday but yeah like you say this certainly hasn't been a good winter,if this week fails to deliver i'll be looking forward to storm season again haha

Altnaharra is far less altitude than my area - its quite confusing because its slap bang in the highlands, however, it is still very good for snow.
