Absolutely nothing from this trough.

Updated airport TAFS for Man and LPL both showing heavy and at times prolonged snow showers this Evening and overnight

Yep we seem to be neatly sat between any of the bands of precipitation here in Northwich. Hope it will pick up later?

Disappointing so far here, just one or two very light sleety snow showers lasting barely 5 minutes - main shower activity seems to be further south and north west. Hoping we see another trough feature preferably around early evening, and that any further showers that do hit us, are much longer lasting an heavier in nature. This evening and overnight seems best time for showers, and it looks a very cold one indeed as well - ice will be a major hazard. Fells are cloaked white which is nice to look at least.

Raining in Kirkham.

Hope Chorley has lying snow.

Your on the fringe of the band which is less intense in Kirkham, hence the rain. Radar looks as though it's should be sleeting in Chorley, but can always be a bit out. So you might have a nice welcome when you get home.

Looked out the window to see it raining. I'm so done with this winter!

If it makes you feel any better it's raining here as well

Saying that I really don't care after my health scare last year just relieved

To be still here kind of puts things into prospective  for me.

Not had much settling snow so far here. Stuck to the car roof and bits on the grass but that's about it. Not a full covering.

Our best hope is this evening after sundown.

Think that has always been the case hopefully the Cheshire Gap will fire up as the wind goes more NW

Still light snow here...although gaining a tad in it's intensity.  Not enough to build a snowman unless it's a very sorry, slushy looking one.
