Very foggy here. Temp has dipped below freeing once again. Tonight could be interesting. Snow leading edge probably.

I’m guessing a short time of snow before turning to rain

That'll be this trough

It could give some snowfall INLAND, coastal areas no chance.

Yup. And only then with elevation, c. 300m > so hill snow by definition. Intensity unlikely to drive that much lower, although heaviest might allow temp accum to 200m?

Next set of snow chances look be be between Sunday and Tuesday. Too far out yet to pin down any snow but Tuesday looking better than the one just gone (as it stands).

Possibility of low land snow overnight as the Trough sinks SE as per @knocker post in the MOD thread

I was looking through the 12Z suites earlier getting a tad excited. Minus 10 850hpa profiles make for exciting radar watching. Especially when we have just experience region-wide low level snow with uppers around minus six! Tuesday should be really fun, permitting it doesn’t change. Which it will.

A skittering of snow overnight, left a thin cover on cold surfaces - pity we didn't see heavier showers yesterday and we would have retained a coating today. Alas, the snow stuck throughout indicative of the very cold air currently over us - I think we scraped 1 degree so not an ice day, but not far off. Temperatures have dropped again this evening, but cloud and wintry precipitation will prevent a significant drop. Could have a wet snow cover - temps and dewpoints will support snow around here, but will it be heavy or not?

Friday's warm front is annoying - we have wonderful winter snowy scenes on the fells, much of the snow will be washed away on Friday and into Saturday - so will have to start from scratch again, but thereafter no signs of any warm sectors - we look like being locked into a cold theme, so the fells should retain there snow mantle for some time.. its been a very late winter in terms of snow on the fells..

Very odd that. Had a moderate burst of freezing rain mixed with snow flakes. Never seen that. Temp -0.6C. Fog not clearing. Doesn’t look good for later if it’s raining now below freezing. Uppers currently -4

Freezing outside.

Can’t work out why this wouldn’t be all snow coming from the north!

Not sure which radar chart you are looking at - but the precipitation has only just made it into N Cumbria and it is snow -nothing here yet, expect it to arrive in an hour and will report whether it is snow or not.
