Just clipped the northern fringe of the snowy showers currently affecting Manchester/South Manchester - so sadly will at least have to try and attempt to drive to work this morning, even though the side roads are treacherous with ice.

All runways at Mcr Airport closed....probably to clear snow/ice.

I wonder if that's it? Supposed to be more mid morning but can't see it.

Now that the winds changed north westerly where do people think the showers forming over the tip of South cumbria will reach further south ? Any ideas ?

I have had rain in my back garden and dry int he front before now, it has to start and end somewhere - if it is snow then that somewhere is Crewe's house apparently.

A bit meh in the grand scheme of things, yet again we just missed the main streamer. M53 is pretty bad in parts and a mate said Prenton is bad.

Take a quick jaunt to Wrexham, looks like they are getting plastered and are going to pick up that streamer too.

Snow to the N of me, snow to the W of me, snow to the E of me. Tomorrow night there'll be snow to the S of me. Here I am, stuck in the middle of Crewe.
