Just had a good look at all the high res models.

I can’t see any significant showers tonight.

I’m off

Yes my only issue is I’m a gardener specialising in wildlife garden design and I need to have enough to work to survive else I’d be there!

Indeed! If it weren't for having to work, I'd move there like a shot.

Polar Lows have been documented to make it down the Irish sea in the past.. indeed although a rare event, Polar Lows have hit the western side of NW England.. but it is rare. The truth is though, if it were going to hit us, we'd have some idea by now..

Right off to watch the mighty blues.

I'll either be back telling everybody blizzards are on the way with feet of snow (good mood)

OR

Gale force winds and torrential rain and I hope everybody gets soaked (bad mood). COYB!

Those showers of the coast of N Ireland are heading towards us. That must be a trough.

I'm not giving up just yet.

Seen some heavy snow fall today So I can’t really moan .....BUT

you really can’t beat anything from the East or North East. I know I don’t get as much snows as those in the East of the Region but it’s guaranteed. None of this wet crap either.

would love an Easterly outbreak to end winter off.

 Actual hail or graupel/ice pellets?
